Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
