Britain's leader plans to press allies to supply Ukraine with more extended-range weaponry to hit Russian targets during discussions in London on the upcoming Friday.

The prime minister plans to receive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", consisting of more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have pledged to provide the Ukrainian government security guarantees once hostilities pause is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been pleading for an extended period for more advanced missile technology from allied countries, an action that the Russian government has stated would intensify the conflict.
